Paul Holbert, is a retired Army veteran and civil servant who spent years traveling the globe for his two government careers. He received his graduate and undergraduate degrees from Troy University and spent a third career as an Adjunct Professor for a local college. He conveys his experiences and ideas in his writing which allows him to write across the spectrum of genres.

Despite health struggles following his military service, Paul feels fortunate and uses writing as a form of therapy to deal with PTSD. He also wanted to find a way to give back to other veterans who struggle with everyday life which led him to doing the show on the Going Solo Network. He and his wife make their home in the shadow of the nation’s capital in Northern Virginia. Paul also hosts a live veteran’s podcast twice a month showcasing veterans and veteran service providers from around the country.
